2010 Plans

For 2010, we have several additions planned this year.  We'll notate here what our plans are and use this as a journal tracking our progress.  Feel free to return to check on our progress.  Please realize we have real jobs so we get to these items as we can :)

• 8 Candy Canes
• 16 Mini Trees
• New Computer Control Boards
• LED Spot Lights
• Small Arches
• Snowfall Lights

Candy Canes
We are adding 8 Candy Canes which will be 5 feet high.  We will use these as a Candy Cane Garden and we plan to make them dance.  We have just the song to help get the Christmas joy moving.  Thanks to our friends at Lori's Lighted D'lites, we had 8 custom candy canes made.  We now have new LED lights from our friends at Creative Displays which we have stared to put on the Candy Canes.

Mini Trees
Thanks again, to Lori's Lighted D'lites and Creative Displays we have 16 new Mini Trees.  THese are about 13 inches high and we are putting multi-colored strings on them.  We will use these for some accent movement we want in the display.  They are smaller than the current mini trees we have had previously in the display.

New Computer Control Boards
Thanks to Light-O-Rama we have 3 new computer boards to help add additional animation to the display.  We'll use these for the Candy Canes and the mini trees as well as a few additional items.

Small Arches
Thanks to an idea we discussed with our friends at Woodinville Wonderland, we're going to copy an idea for some arches to help accent the display.  We won't do it exactly the same way, but similar.  Thanks Zman!



Snowfall lights and Flood Lights
We intend to add some floods to help color up the house.  This will be programmatically the most challenging thing to the display this year and then we are adding more Snowfall lights.  Look at the 2009 Sleigh Ride video to see last years and you'll get the gist of we're adding more.
